Letter to All Wisconsin Banks & Credit Unions to Support Green Homes!

According to climate experts (1), residential energy efficiency has the biggest potential for cutting carbon emissions of anything society can do. If that is the case then we need to make it financial possible for millions of Americans to do so. Already, multiple banks (2) throughout Wisconsin have begun offering "Green Mortgages", where buyers and those refinancing can qualify for banks and credit unions to pay 100% for deep energy retrofits to their building that save more than they cost throughout the life of the home.

But although every bank and credit union has the ability to offer these green mortgages (3), only a few in Wisconsin do. It isn't that financial institutions are opposed, they just haven't been asked by their customers/members.

ADD YOUR NAME and let us know which financial institution you work with, and we'll reach out to them together with many of their members/customers to ask them to begin offering green mortgages so more people can fight climate change at home!
