The City of Milwaukee has teamed up with Summit Credit Union to make it easier for Milwaukee residents to reduce utility bills, improve homes to make them more comfortable and cut carbon emissions.

Elements of the Me2 Summit Credit Union Financing Option:

-- Fund improvements to basements, windows, attics, HVAC systems and more! Even certain minor home repairs. Improvements that reduce utility bills to save money.

-- Up to $15,000, spread over 5 to 15 years, with no penalty for early payment. Average $100-$120 per month until you sell the home, or 15 years, whichever is sooner.

-- Only available for City of Milwaukee properties of 1-3 unit buildings, for certain energy efficiency improvements.

-- No minimum credit score, no home equity required, no down payment, no prepayment penalties. Must be employed the last ~12 months

This Me2 financing program can help pay for insulating basement walls to reduce heat loss & moisture intrusions, attic insulation, air sealing, new furnace/boiler, heat pump to replace an air conditioner, or up to 15 new Energy Star windows. Note, windows can only be included if attic is well insulated or will be as part of this program.
